Position: Quality Inspector
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support quality assurance throughout the manufacturing process. This role is responsible for conducting receiving and production inspections, maintaining quality documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial manufacturing inspection, familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems, and the ability to work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality leadership to ensure products meet customer specifications and established standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving inspections on identified vendor-supplied equipment and materials to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Conduct in-process inspections, establish project-specific inspection points, and implement quality stops as needed throughout production.
- Work with Engineering and Production teams to verify specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and compliance with customer requirements.
- Identify, document, and monitor nonconforming products and deviations from established standards.
- Perform root cause analysis and assist with corrective actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate with Production to maintain proper calibration of inspection and measuring equipment.
- Complete required inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation in accordance with the Quality Manual.
- Assist the HSQE Manager with internal audits and ongoing maintenance and development of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and quality control manual.
- Collaborate with department leads to identify opportunities for improved quality, process consistency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in heavy industrial manufacturing, oilfield equipment fabrication, or energy services.
- Experience using inspection tools and techniques required.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001-certified facility required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment drawings and schematics preferred.
- Basic understanding of oil and gas surface or subsurface equipment, pressure ratings, and manufacturing quality standards, such as API specifications, highly desirable.
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality leadership.
- Must successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, climb, and walk as needed throughout the workday.
- Ability to reach, push, pull, and lift within established company safety limits.
- Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing or shop environments.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.

Schedule & Training
- Approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime and weekends as needed.
- Initial Training: Travel to El Reno, OK, weekly for approximately 6 weeks. Per diem will be provided during the training period.
- Regular Work Location: After completing training, the position will be based onsite at the Port of Catoosa.
- Additional travel to customer locations throughout North America may be required.
- Monday through Friday 5:45am – 4:15pm
