Industrial Sandblasting /Painting Technician Location: Waunakee, WIEmployment Type: Full-timeSchedule: 6 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through FridayWage: $21 - $24 an hour depending on experienceABR staffing is working with a custom metals fabrication manufacturer in Waunakee to recruit for a few Industrial Sandblaster / Painter roles Position OverviewThe Industrial Sandblasting & Painting Technician will prepare, blast, and finish a variety of metal parts and components. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial painting or blasting, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment.Must be able to sandblast and paint overhead for hours at a time, work on scaffolding and in semi-enclosed environment that can get very hot or cold depending on external weather. (Company does provide protective clothing and use of air helmet is required.)Key ResponsibilitiesPerform sandblasting operations on metal components according to specificationsPrepare surfaces through cleaning, masking, priming and proper setupInspect finished parts for quality, thickness, and consistencyMaintain equipment and work areas in accordance with safety and maintenance standardsFollow all safety protocols, including PPE usage and hazardous material handlingWork with supervisors to meet production timelines and quality requirementsQualificationsRequired:Experience in industrial sandblasting, wet painting (not powder coating), or related finishing processesKnowledge of spray equipment setup, operation, and cleaningAbility to read and follow technical instructions and safety guidelinesStrong attention to detail and qualityPhysical ability to lift [50 lbs], stand for extended periods on scaffolding, and work in industrial environments ABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
