What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Proficiency in at least two trades among building, electrical, or mechanical work
- Two or more years of experience in plant and building maintenance
- Knowledge of safety protocols such as lockout/tagout and confined space procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills to detect defects and perform precise repairs or adjustments
- Ability to interpret sketches, diagrams, and technical instructions
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively
- Physical fitness, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Dedication to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with contingency plans and emergency procedures
- Familiarity with computer-based maintenance management systems
- Additional trades certifications or technical training
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of at least the 10th grade
- Two or more years in building, electrical, or mechanical trades, with hands-on maintenance experience
- Equivalent combinations of training and experience are also valued
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work long shifts of up to 12 hours, five days a week
- Willingness to adhere to confidentiality standards
- Physically capable of sustained activity on a shop floor environment
