What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ranch Hand position at Able's?
Our company does a variety of different things, and candidate must be comfortable with different tasks and not doing the same thing every day. We are in the cattle and hay business as well as having a sporting clays range among other ventures.
Valid Driver's License is a REQUIREMENT for this position.
Looking for candidates with experience in all the following Job Duties:
Building and maintaining Fences
Cattle Operations
Horse Operations
Hay Bailing and Operations
Driving trucks and hauling equipment/livestock
General mechanical and maintenance skills,
metal working skills and welding, and other general farm and ranch skills.
Mechanic Skills, working on equipment and vehicles from simple task to more advanced
Operating farm machinery such as tractors, skid steers, mowers, rakes, balers, etc.
Candidate must display knowledge of safe practices and be conscious of safety to fellow workers and livestock and promote safe work practices by example.
This position is FULL TIME ONLY -- no part time candidates will be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
