The Physical Science Teacher is responsible for providing engaging, inquiry-based instruction that promotes scientific literacy, critical thinking, and college and career readiness for students. The teacher develops and delivers standards-aligned lessons in physical science, utilizing hands-on investigations, laboratory experiences, and real-world applications to foster student curiosity and understanding of scientific concepts. As a member of ABLE's Charter School Community, the Physical Science Teacher creates a safe, inclusive and academically rigorous learning environment that supports the diverse needs of all learners. The teacher uses student data to guide instruction, differentiates learning opportunities, and collaborates with colleagues, families, and support staff to ensure student success. Requirements / Qualifications
We require BA or BS degree and single-subject California teaching credential with appropriate authorization, intern eligibility and credential, or out-of-state credential meeting California requirements.
