What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Ability Builders for Children?
Job Description:
- Provide screening, evaluation, and therapy services as assigned
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to determine diagnosis and develop appropriate treatment plans for assigned children
- Provide consultation on issues involving effective motor development to teaching staff and other appropriate personnel and programs
- Provide counseling to families regarding their child’s motor development and stimulation
Qualification:
NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
Auithorized to work in the US
Speech Therapist Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 year of Speech Language Pathology (SLP) experience
- Master's Degree
- NYS Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Have strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to independently implement programming without daily supervision
- Are a positive, team-driven person and can provide excellent customer service to clients
- Demonstrate high-level organizational skills
- Personal means of transportation (Willing to travel)
- Want to work in a collaborative environment and have opportunity for growth in an organization
- Skilled in ASL is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Salary : $60 - $80
