POSITION: Job Coach/Life Coach - Part Time
PROGRAM ASSIGNMENT: The Café at Greenwich Library
SCHEDULE: Part Time Opportunities Available with the following schedules - Mon/Wed/Fri 3 PM-6:30 PM
Tues/Thurs 3 PM-6:30 PM, Sat 8 AM-3:30 PM, availability subject to change.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working alongside the individuals Abilis supports, and guiding, assisting, and teaching the individuals as needed.
Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
Packaging food and beverages for sale.
Selling coffee and tea blends.
Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
Starting Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Qualifications:• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings,
weekends, and holidays.
• A polite, engaging personality.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced,
inclusive environment.
Required Certifications/Training:
• ServSafe Food Handler
• CPR/First Aid
