Systems & Network Administrator
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems & Network Administrator to support and optimize enterprise systems, network infrastructure, and critical business applications for an industry-leading organization.
This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional with strong experience across Windows/Linux servers, VMware, Microsoft technologies, networking, monitoring tools, security, and enterprise support. You will play a key role in maintaining system performance, improving infrastructure reliability, and supporting secure IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, including RHEL
- Manage virtualized environments using VMware
- Support enterprise platforms including Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, SQL Server, and Citrix
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, VoIP, and voice network infrastructure
- Serve as an escalation point for complex systems and network issues
- Use monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, BMC Patrol, or Tivoli
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patching, performance improvements, and maintenance activities
- Implement system security controls, access management, and audit compliance requirements
- Support incident management and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Mentor junior IT staff and contribute to enterprise IT initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of systems and network administration experience in an enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux/RHEL
- Experience with VMware virtualization
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and Microsoft infrastructure
- Networking experience with Cisco, Fortinet, LAN/WAN, VPN, VoIP, switches, and network security
- Experience with SQL Server and infrastructure monitoring tools
- Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, VBScript, or similar tools
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to support occasional field work and participate in a 24/7 on-call schedule
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and comply with corporate security policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in highly regulated, security-focused, or enterprise-scale environments
- Knowledge of audit/compliance standards such as SSAE18
- Prior experience mentoring junior administrators or supporting vendor evaluations

Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
