Client is looking for a Litigation Associate/Attorney to join their Sugar Land office. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience in a fast-paced civil litigation environment.
The ideal candidate should be a Texas-barred attorney with 3–7 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury defense, insurance defense, or broader civil litigation. The attorney will handle an active docket and work on matters involving pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, client reports, hearings, depositions, mediations, case strategy, file management, and trial preparation.
We need candidates with experience in:
- Civil litigation
- Personal injury defense
- Insurance defense
- Premises liability
- Auto liability
- General litigation
- Discovery and motion practice
- Hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Trial preparation
Must-have qualifications:
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Texas Bar admission
- Litigation experience, ideally 3–7 years
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple active matters and deadlines
- Willingness to work in person in Austin, TX
Not looking for purely transactional, criminal, family law, immigration, or remote-only unless you have strong relevant civil litigation experience and are open to onsite work in Sugarland, TX.
