We are seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney to join a growing litigation team in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves handling medical malpractice and personal injury defense cases from inception through resolution.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on litigation experience and the ability to manage an independent caseload while working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle medical malpractice and personal injury defense matters from filing through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and manage written discovery
- Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
- Assist in trial preparation and develop litigation strategies
- Manage an independent caseload and meet deadlines
- Communicate with clients and insurers, providing case updates and legal guidance
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of litigation experience (defense preferred)
- Active Pennsylvania Bar (required)
- Experience with motions, discovery, and depositions
- Ability to independently manage cases
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Preferred:
- Medical malpractice defense or personal injury defense experience
- Experience working with insurers and defense-side clients
