We are seeking a highly skilled Business Valuation Manager to lead and manage complex valuation engagements. This role involves working closely with senior leadership on projects related to litigation support, tax compliance, and strategic business decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in valuation modeling, financial analysis, and report writing, along with exposure to litigation or forensic engagements. This position requires delivering well-supported and defensible valuation reports that may be reviewed by attorneys, courts, and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage business valuation engagements end-to-end
- Apply valuation methodologies including Income, Market, and Asset approaches
- Develop, review, and validate financial models and valuation reports
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant data
- Perform discount analyses including lack of control and marketability
- Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and internal stakeholders
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality and defensibility standards
Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience in business valuation
- Strong expertise in financial modeling and valuation report writing
- Experience with litigation, forensic, or dispute-related engagements (preferred)
- Professional certification required (CVA, ABV, ASA, CBA, CFE, or CFF)
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review and validate work
