Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs
- Conduct and defend depositions, including expert witnesses
- Perform legal and medical research
- Manage case files independently from inception to resolution
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
- Assist in trial preparation and litigation strategy
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of medical malpractice litigation experience
- Active license to practice law in South Carolina
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Experience handling depositions and discovery processes
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
