Job Summary: (This is a part-time, as needed position. There is no guarantee of a certain number of hours)
The qualified candidate will be testing and assessing computer equipment and printers to ensure it meets functionality and aesthetic standards before it is returned to stock or other stages of production. The position will assist with inventory, warehousing, fulfillment, and other related functions as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Quality control of computer equipment and printers testing for functionality, checking for damage, clean and return to stock.
- Prepare shipments to other SmartSource branches, job sites, or customers.
- Ensure equipment is complete, accurate, and safely packed for shipping.
- Maintain inventory control system ensuring all stock movements are properly tracked and accounted for.
- Keep the warehouse in a clean and organized state.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle count program.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Requires loading/unloading of company vehicles.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive product into inventory.
- Accurately record quality compliance related issues in ERP system.
- Transport, on-site installation, configuration, customer service, and troubleshooting of our computers, printers, large displays and related peripherals in tradeshow and corporate event environments.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must have experience with pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Must be able to work independently and part of a team.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
