Responsibilities
- Assemble monthly GAAP-compliant financial statements and tax reporting packages
- Compile detailed property-level financial reports and supporting schedules by integrating inputs from legal, construction, and operations stakeholders
- Track and validate adherence to lender covenants and reporting obligations across the assigned asset portfolio
- Evaluate short-term liquidity through weekly cash flow analyses to guide prioritization and approval of property-level expenditures
- Reconcile operating, mortgage, and escrow accounts on a monthly basis
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger activity for assigned properties to support timely and reliable financial reporting
- Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting cycles through preparation, review, and supporting analysis
- Collaborate with leasing and property management teams to interpret performance trends and resolve accounting or operational discrepancies
- Coordinate audit and tax support activities with external auditors, providing required documentation and responses
- Act as a primary finance point of contact across departments and regional teams
- Support year-end CAM reconciliations and property tax escalation calculations, including tenant billing adjustments
- Participate in special initiatives such as acquisition analysis, property onboarding, and system implementation efforts
- 2 years of property accounting experience
- Commercial property experience required
- Combo or private experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical
- Experience with Yardi or MRI required
