Positions Open:

  • Full time: Alma, MI

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral issues and needs. Assessments used are FBA's, VB-MAPP; Essentials for Living; PEAK; ABLLS-R; AFLS;
  • Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment findings.
  • Implement and monitor behavioral therapy programs using applied behavior analysis techniques.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective patient care.
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavioral health strategies and interventions.
  • Attend IEP meetings as requested by the caseload families
  • Collaboration with other professionals, SLP's, OT's and case managers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning and recommendations.
  • Advocate for clients with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Preferred - Willingness to oversee RBT's or BCaBA's and supervise fieldwork.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health and developmental disabilities.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment techniques to evaluate client needs accurately.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy methodologies and applied behavior analysis principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and maintain documentation efficiently.
