Brown University Health is looking for a full-time pediatric dermatologist to join our academic faculty in Providence, Rhode Island. This is a chance to practice in a collaborative, academically focused environment while caring for children across outpatient and inpatient settings.
What you’ll do
- See pediatric patients in our Brown Dermatology outpatient clinics.
- Provide inpatient and emergency consultations at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
- Consult for the NICU and newborn nurseries at Women & Infants Hospital.
- Work closely with pediatric specialists in multidisciplinary settings, such as the Vascular Anomalies Clinic and Dermatology–Genetics conferences.
- Supervise and teach learners at multiple levels — Brown Dermatology and pediatric residents, neonatology fellows, medical students, and other trainees.
- Participate in academic conferences, deliver didactic teaching, and engage in scholarly activities.
- Opportunities exist to lead and participate in clinical research and clinical trials.

Qualifications we’re looking for
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Dermatology (completed or in progress)
- Eligible for—or currently hold—an unrestricted Rhode Island medical license
- Eligible for DEA registration
- Commitment to academic medicine, resident education, and patient-centered care
- Interest in clinical research and multidisciplinary collaboration is preferred
