Provide clinical leadership and deliver high-quality, patient-centered medical care across several skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Sulphur, Louisiana. In this full-time role you will collaborate closely with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage post-acute and long-term care patients, oversee clinical workflows, and support staff to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as attending physician and clinical leader at assigned facilities
- Coordinate care with NPs, PAs, nursing staff, and ancillary services
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and perform visits (typically 18-25 per day)
- Provide oversight, documentation, and quality assurance for clinical services
- Support staff education and communicate effectively with families and facility teams
Position highlights
- Full-time position with flexible scheduling; physicians generally cover each facility 1-2 days per week

Qualifications
