Join a leading Bismarck medical center’s Level III NICU as an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide ongoing night-shift coverage focused on high-acuity neonatal care and close collaboration with an established multidisciplinary team.
Compensation
- $110 per hour
Assignment Details
- Shift: Night, 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (16-hour shifts)
- Coverage: Primarily Friday-Monday nights; weekend coverage required
- On-call: Not required
- Ongoing assignment available for the right candidate
Practice Setting
- Inpatient, hospital-based Level III NICU managing critically ill newborns
- Collaborative environment with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and NICU nursing teams
- Participation in both ground and fixed-wing neonatal transports
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, family-centered care to neonates in a Level III NICU
- Perform advanced neonatal procedures (intubation, central line and peripheral arterial line placement)
- Provide immediate neonatal resuscitation and care at high-risk deliveries
- Support interfacility and intra-hospital transports as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Active North Dakota NP license
- DEA registration
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
