A healthcare facility in Twin Falls is seeking a Locums Orthopedic Surgeon to provide coverage at a Level III Trauma Center. This role centers on managing acute orthopedic trauma in both the emergency department and inpatient settings while partnering with a collaborative team of surgeons, emergency physicians, hospitalists, and advanced practice providers.
You’ll evaluate and treat patients with traumatic musculoskeletal injuries, provide consultations for ED and inpatient cases, and perform both operative and non-operative fracture management and related procedures. Trauma call coverage is a required component, and you’ll be expected to maintain accurate documentation while upholding high standards of patient safety and quality care.
Compensation is $4,050 per shift.
Ideal candidates will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery, eligible for Idaho medical licensure, and possess strong clinical judgment for managing complex trauma cases. Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma is preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
