What are the responsibilities and job description for the Locums Neurology PA or NP - Outpatient Clinic (Prescott, AZ) position at AAS Healthcare Staffing?
Location: Prescott, AZ - Outpatient neurology clinic (EMR: Cerner). FTE: 1.0.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Lunch 12:00 PM-1:00 PM (paid)
Core responsibilities:
- Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits.
- Conduct neurological consultations and assessments.
- Evaluate and manage a broad range of neurological conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans; coordinate patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in Cerner.
- Perform EMGs and read EEGs, if credentialed/qualified.
- Administer Botox injections for migraine treatment, if credentialed.
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona license.
- Either:
- Nurse Practitioner: AANP or ANCC certification, or
- Physician Assistant: NCCPA certification.
- Comfortable providing outpatient neurology evaluations and consultations.
- Neurology experience preferred.
- Procedural/diagnostic experience (EMG, EEG interpretation, Botox for migraines) preferred.
