Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited U.S. Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
- Valid Arizona medical license and DEA certificate
- Current Arizona driver’s license
- Current CPR/AED certification for healthcare professionals (meets American Heart Association and American Red Cross standards, including cognitive and skills evaluations)
- Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety (required for assignments at specialty behavioral health locations)
Skills and competencies
- Demonstrated clinical competence with sound knowledge of methods and techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to deliver respectful, culturally responsive care to diverse populations
- Basic proficiency in business English, spelling, and punctuation
- Basic computer skills, including experience with electronic medical record systems
