We’re looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an urgent care in East Rutherford, NJ, for an immediate six-month locum assignment. This is a hands-on role in a busy outpatient urgent care where you’ll manage a steady patient flow and make a real impact providing timely, high-quality care.
Pay and assignment
- Compensation: $100 per hour
- Location: East Rutherford, New Jersey
- Duration: Six-month locum assignment, immediate start
Schedule
- Monday-Thursday: 11:00 AM-9:00 PM
- Friday-Saturday: 11:00 AM-10:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM-7:00 PM
- Coverage: single-provider shift
- Typical volume: about 40 patients per day
What you’ll be doing
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Perform urgent care procedures such as laceration repair and suturing
- Create treatment plans and arrange appropriate follow-up
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
- Provide efficient, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
What we’re looking for
- Active New Jersey medical or advanced practice license (as applicable)
- Active DEA registration
- Current credentials as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Prior urgent care or fast-paced outpatient experience is preferred
