Key responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum obstetric care, including prenatal management, labor and delivery coverage, and postpartum follow-up
- Deliver routine and preventive gynecologic services such as annual exams, screenings, and management of common gynecologic conditions
- Perform gynecologic procedures and surgeries as authorized by privileges
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of women’s health conditions
- Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and specialty services
- Counsel patients on preventive health, family planning, and treatment options
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Qualifications
- MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Current DEA registration
