We are seeking a Board-Certified cardiology physician for locum tenens inpatient coverage in Petoskey, Michigan. The role provides comprehensive inpatient cardiology consults, diagnostic testing and interpretation, and collaborative care with a dedicated team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Schedule
- 24-hour call shifts (6:00 AM-6:00 AM)
- Weekday coverage Monday-Friday as scheduled
- Weekend coverage required
- Weekday call shifts include 8 hours of gratis coverage
Clinical responsibilities
- Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and ongoing management
- Perform and interpret echocardiograms, treadmill and chemical stress tests
- Review diagnostic data and formulate appropriate treatment plans
- Coordinate care with the inpatient team to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Collaborate closely with three inpatient cardiology APPs supporting the service

Requirements
