Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and stabilize patients with acute medical, traumatic, and behavioral conditions.
- Perform thorough histories, physical exams, and order/interpret diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication administration, minor procedures, and dispositions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff; document care accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and EM best practices.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
- Active Florida medical license.
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
