Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and stabilize patients presenting with a broad range of acute medical and traumatic conditions.
- Perform focused histories and physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications, perform minor procedures and ED-critical interventions, and coordinate with consultants and support staff.
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with patients and families.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
- Active Florida medical license.
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
