Location: Casper, WY — Level III Trauma hospital
Schedule
- Coverage: 2 weeks per month
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Typical hours: 7:00 AM–1:00 PM (may vary with case volume)
- No additional call required
Practice setting
- Hospital-based (Level III Trauma)
- Mix of inpatient, outpatient surgery, and Labor & Delivery
- Typical caseload: 7–10 cases/day
- Patient population: primarily adult with light pediatrics
- No surgical patients under age 3 (except L&D/neonatal cases)
Clinical responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures
- Administer general and local anesthesia
- Perform regional anesthesia and epidurals (required)
- Manage anesthesia for Labor & Delivery, including neonatal support as needed
- Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
- Collaborate with surgeons, obstetrics, and perioperative teams to ensure safe patient care
Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Wyoming license or IMLC eligibility
- ACLS (required for conscious sedation privileges)
- PALS (AHA) required
- Experience with epidurals, regional blocks, and general anesthesia
- Comfortable managing light pediatric and neonatal (L&D) cases
