We’re looking for a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Auburn, ME team as the site’s Lead Provider. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced APP who loves providing high-quality, patient-centered urgent care and enjoys mentoring clinical staff in a busy, fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do
- Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages, delivering compassionate, evidence-based treatment.
- Serve as the clinical leader onsite, guiding daily operations and promoting consistency in practice.
- Mentor and support new graduate NPs/PAs and other allied health professionals, helping them grow clinically and professionally.
- Champion best practices, clinical excellence, and safety across the team.
- Ensure the site adheres to regulatory and clinical protocols while maintaining high standards of care.
Who we’re looking for
- Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Certification from a recognized NP or PA certifying body.
- Active Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure (note: must obtain/maintain as required).
- Unrestricted DEA license (must have and maintain).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is strongly preferred.
- Leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a strong plus.
