Full-time Lead Provider role in Bangor, ME for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in urgent care. Serve as the clinical leader at the site, delivering urgent care to patients of all ages while mentoring and supervising clinical staff and new graduate APPs.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urgent care services across the lifespan
- Serve as on-site clinical leader: set and maintain clinical standards, ensure compliance with protocols and regulations
- Mentor, precept, and support new graduate NPs/PAs and allied health staff
- Promote evidence-based practice, patient safety, efficiency, and quality outcomes
- Collaborate with administrative teams on workflow and clinical operations improvements
Required qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
- National certification (NP or PA) and active Maine license or eligibility
- Unrestricted DEA registration (must obtain/maintain)
- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience preferred
