Schedule
- 183 24-hour shifts annually
- Blocked scheduling with 7-day stretches
- Built-in recovery time between rotations
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
- Participate in trauma call coverage
- Manage a broad range of fracture care and orthopedic injuries
- Coordinate care with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalists, and rehabilitation teams
- Balance surgical cases, inpatient management, and follow-up clinic responsibilities
- Maintain timely documentation and high-quality, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship preferred
- Experience managing orthopedic trauma in a hospital-based setting
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
- Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
