What are the responsibilities and job description for the Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician — Inpatient & Call Coverage (Berlin, NH; 12/2112/28) position at AAS Healthcare Staffing?
We’re looking for an experienced locum OB/GYN to provide inpatient coverage and take call at the hospital in Berlin, NH. This role is a great fit for a board-certified or board-eligible physician comfortable managing the full scope of obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting.
Assignment dates:
Monday, 12/21 — Monday, 12/28 (8:00 AM start and end)
What you’ll do:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care and cover call
- Manage labor and delivery, including routine and high‑risk cases
- Perform urgent and emergent gynecologic procedures as needed
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide surgical coverage (including C‑sections when required)
- Consult on ED and inpatient OB/GYN cases
- Work closely with nursing, anesthesia, and other hospital teams
- Complete timely documentation in the EMR
What we’re looking for:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active New Hampshire medical license
- DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NRP certification preferred (or required per facility policy)
