Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including histories and risk evaluations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver preventive care and patient education
- Refer to specialists and coordinate interdisciplinary care with timely follow-up and communication
- Supervise Nurse Practitioners when applicable (additional stipend)
- Maintain punctual clinic flow to ensure patients are seen as scheduled
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM); Board Eligible must be within 5 years of residency completion
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in primary care or urgent care; supervisory experience preferred
- Active Florida medical license and current DEA registration
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
