As an Apprentice Installer, you'll work alongside experienced technicians to install and service garage doors and related components. You'll learn our process step-by-step and gain the skills to grow into a full installer role over time. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with residential and light commercial garage door installations
- Load/unload materials, prep job sites, and keep work areas clean and safe
- Use hand and power tools to help with assembly, mounting, and hardware installation
- Learn to identify parts and components (tracks, springs, openers, panels, hardware)
- Support basic troubleshooting and repair tasks as skills develop
- Follow safety procedures and company installation standards every day
- Communicate clearly with the team and show up ready to work
- Ideally, some experience with garage doors (install or service)
- Strong candidates may come from construction, HVAC installation, mechanical work, or similar trades
- Comfortable using power tools and working on ladders with proper safety practices
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to Lawrenceville-area jobs
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor/variable conditions
- Coachable, dependable, and able to follow step-by-step processes
- Full-time, W-2 Employment.
- Salary of $35,000 to $45,000 per year, based on experience
