Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of air duct systems to identify dust buildup, mold, debris, and other contaminants
• Perform cleaning procedures using specialized equipment such as rotary brushes, vacuum systems, and chemical agents to remove dirt and pollutants from ducts
• Handle chemical cleaning agents safely while adhering to environmental and safety regulations
• Utilize manual handling techniques to lift, move, and install duct components or equipment safely and efficiently
• Apply floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, or other floor care techniques in work areas as needed to maintain a clean environment during projects
• Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, air compressors, and power brushes to ensure optimal duct cleanliness
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining procedures clearly and addressing client questions or concerns professionally
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, cleaning procedures performed, and materials used for each project
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries

Experience

• Prior experience in HVAC maintenance, environmental services, or janitorial work preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as floor scrubbing, floor buffing, floor waxing, carpet cleaning, or floor refinishing is a plus
• Knowledge of handling cleaning chemicals safely and effectively in various settings
• Experience with custodial or janitorial duties that involve heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
• Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning equipment responsibly and efficiently
• Previous exposure to commercial cleaning environments or environmental services roles is advantageous
