PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform residential duct cleaning services including supply and return ductwork, trunk lines, dryer vents, and registers.
- Set up and operate negative air machines, rotary brushes, air whips, and other cleaning tools in accordance with NADCA best practices.
- Perform thorough visual inspections before and after cleaning; document with photos.
- Seal duct access points and return HVAC systems to operational status after cleaning.
- Communicate with homeowners about the cleaning process, findings, and post-cleaning recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle and IAQ equipment.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
- Adhere to safety standards, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
- Represent Loving Airs core values and uphold professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
Training and performance will focus on:
- Mastery of duct cleaning procedures
- Safe equipment operation
- Customer communication and education
- Add-on IAQ products (UV lights, filters, etc.)
- Trust-building behaviors during in-home visits
Evaluated weekly through:
- Manager assessments
- Customer feedback
- Quality checks on completed jobs
- Review of photos and documentation
SCHEDULE:
Full-time, MondayFriday with flexible start times based on the days first appointment.
Expected to arrive at the customers home a minimum of 5 minutes before scheduled time.
May be scheduled after-hours or weekends based on workload, particularly during seasonal peaks.
TOOLS REQUIRED (Technician-Supplied):
- iPad (for documentation and navigation)
- Cordless Impact Drill (12V)
- Flashlights / Headlamps
- 6-in-1 Screwdriver
- Utility Knife
- Tape Measure
- Camera or iPad camera (for before/after photos)
- Misc. tools to remove and re-attach grilles and registers
QUALIFICATIONS:
No prior duct cleaning experience required (training provided)
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to work in tight spaces (attics, crawlspaces)
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow SOPs

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT:
Frequently required to stand, crawl, kneel, and climb ladders
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Work in attics, crawlspaces, and tight areas with varying temperatures
Exposure to dust, mold, insulation, and airborne debris
Use of respirators or masks is often required
