What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator - Blender (Bilingual) position at A3 Solutions, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Comply with all safety processes and procedures.
- Inspects product to verify conformance to customer specifications, including proper application of ingredients/materials.
- Records all ingredients received and used during each shift.
- Measure and blend ingredients according to batch sheet instructions and monitor blending process.
- Operates auxiliary equipment associated with the operations of the machine including but not limited to weigh scales, conveyor systems, etc.
- Ensures blender is maintained in a sanitary condition.
- Recommends measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Analyzes production problems and assists team members in solving them.
- Maintains process control paperwork.
- Ensure test pieces are fed through metal detector per SOP frequency.
- Ability to make weight adjustments on filler/Control seal bar temperature / dwell time and pressure.
- Ensure product is being fed through metal detector. Ensure test pieces are fed through metal detector per SOP frequency.
- Operates other packaging related equipment such as conveyors, tape machines, hand jacks, etc.
- Sets up and break down of machine(s). Correctly disassemble blender, sifter, cluster collector/Clean and sanitize equipment and work area.
- Obtain all required paperwork for shift (e.g, scale verification, batch blend, time blend).
- Train all new employees and general laborers on duties needed to maintain line.
- Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to Management.
- Perform general labor duties assigned, and other duties assigned by management.
