Job description:
We are looking to add talented, highly qualified tutors to our team! This is an in-person tutoring position located in Volusia County, Florida. Tutors must be passionate about seeing our students succeed and have the following qualification(s):
- Holds a valid Florida teacher certificate, or is eligible for one, required.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in education or related field.
- Teaching/tutoring experience required.
- Secondary (Grades 6-12th) Math and/or Reading tutoring experience required.
- Experience working in Exceptional Student Education preferred.
- Current background check and drug test report required upon hiring.
Our A Tutors are expected to:
- Facilitate a positive and friendly environment for learning.
- Be highly knowledgeable in your subject area(s).
- Maintain clear communication with students and parents.
- Arrive to all tutoring sessions on time and prepared.
- Keep accurate records and adhere to deadlines.
