A to Z Equipment Rentals is looking for a strong financial leader to help support and grow our company as we continue expanding across the Carolinas.

This role is ideal for someone who understands accounting and finance but also enjoys being involved in operations, problem solving, and helping a business improve and grow.
About A to Z:
A to Z Equipment Rentals serves contractors and industrial customers throughout North and South Carolina with a modern fleet of telehandlers, aerial equipment, compact earthmoving equipment, compaction, and jobsite support equipment.
We take pride in customer service, dependable equipment, and building long-term relationships with both employees and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting and financial operations
- Manage monthly financial reporting and close process
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Monitor fleet depreciation, utilization, and capital spending
- Work with ownership on financial planning and growth initiatives
- Coordinate banking relationships and lender reporting
- Manage sales tax filings and compliance reporting
- Improve reporting systems and internal processes
- Support AP/AR, payroll, and accounting functions
- Develop operational KPI reporting and dashboards
Qualifications:
- Accounting or finance leadership experience
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and cash flow management
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial, or asset-heavy industries preferred
- CPA is a plus but not required
- Experience with QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Excel preferred
