We are seeking a collaborative, compassionate, and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. As a BCBA at A Sunny Day, your primary role is develop, maintain, and implement individualized behavioral treatment plans to promote positive behaviors and improve the overall quality of life for both clients and their families. This position is for individuals willing to work in the Mary Esther and surrounding areas (Defuniak Springs, near Hurlburt Field, Ft. Walton).
Here’s what we are looking for you to bring to the table!
- Currently hold BCBA certification and remain within ethical compliance per BACB standards.
- Reside within selected county (Okaloosa) or be willing to travel for clients as we mainly offer in-home services to better fit the needs of the clients.
- Have experience providing ABA therapy with in-home, in-clinic, and/or, in-community settings.
- Have experience and be willing to supervise RBTs for caseload, if needed.
- Be empathic, compassionate, communicative, and competent for those we provide services for.
While working, we expect our BCBAs to do the following:
- Conduct evidence-based assessments for clients using up-to-date empirical research.
- Develop meaningful and appropriate treatment goals and programming to address the needs of each client.
- Conduct behavior modifications for and monitor current protocols in accordance with provider requirements.
- Train and monitor RBTs on caseload with potential for providing supervision for future candidates gaining hours for their BCBA, if needed
- Collaborate with parents/caregivers and respond to parent concerns regarding programming or potential areas for parent training.
- Conduct parent trainings in accordance with provider requirements or ensure parent training specialist is aware of parental concerns to schedule needed parent trainings.
- Submit all documentation (session notes, behavior modifications, parent trainings, and treatment plans) within a timely manner.
- Manage a small caseload of clients (5-8 individuals).
