THE POSITION
A. Richard Aitken Jr. Builder-Contractor, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our extraordinary team full-time in the office at our Long Beach Island location. The Project Coordinator will direct activities relative to our construction contracts.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate contracts administration with Project Supervisors, Service Manager, and Operations Manager.
Examine contracts, estimates of material, equipment, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy, in coordination with the Project Managers.
Prepare bids, process specifications, tests, and progress reports and other exhibits that may be required for the Project Supervisors, Service Manager, and Operations Manager.
Review bids from subcontractors for conformity to contract requirements and determine acceptable bids in coordination with the Project Supervisors, Estimators, and Operations Manager.
Negotiate contract with customer or bidder, as directed.
Manage Submittal process.
Award and administer contracts.
Request/approve amendments to, or extensions of contracts, as presented by a Project Manager or Project Supervisor.
Review all correspondence concerning subcontractors and respond as necessary.
Establish and maintain contact with customers to ensure smooth working of the contract awards process.

Requirements:
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software,
- Willing to learn Procore and Project Management Software,
- Knowledge of internet for research and product information.
- Experience with Asana Software a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in a Job cost and/or Construction environment.

Pay: $60, $90,000.00 per year
