Project Coordinator – Residential Construction (Beach Haven West, NJ)

We are a small, fast‐moving residential builder specializing in lagoon homes in Beach Haven West (08050). We build 8–12 homes per year and are looking for a Project Coordinator who can keep materials flowing, schedules tight, and jobsite issues handled without constant oversight.

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator supports daily construction operations by ordering materials, building work schedules, and problem‐solving with trades and suppliers. This role is ideal for someone who understands residential construction and can keep multiple jobs organized at once.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Ordering — place orders with local suppliers (Shoreline, Builders General, ABC Supply, etc.) and track deliveries

• Work Scheduling — coordinate trades, inspections, and jobsite sequencing

• Problem Solving — address jobsite issues quickly and independently

• Maintain project timelines and update builder on progress

• Communicate with trades, inspectors, and homeowners when needed

• Ensure jobsite readiness before each trade arrives

• Keep digital records of materials, deliveries, and schedule changes

Requirements

• Residential construction experience (superintendent, foreman, coordinator, or expediter)

• Strong understanding of materials, suppliers, and trade sequencing

• Ability to manage multiple jobs at once

• Reliable transportation

• Strong communication and organization skills

• Ability to work independently and make decisions on the fly

Compensation

• $60,000–$80,000 salary depending on experience

• Weekly truck allowance

• Phone reimbursement
