Host Position
As a Host at Von Elrod’s, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests and a key player in managing the flow of service. You’ll oversee reservations, waitlists, and seating while ensuring a welcoming and efficient guest experience.
Requirements-
Minimum 1 year of hosting experience in a high‑volume restaurant
Experience using Toast Tables and comfortable using an iPad throughout the shift
Experience managing large parties and busy service periods
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Friendly, professional demeanor under pressure
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibility-
Greet guests promptly and professionally
Manage reservations, waitlists, and large‑party seating using Toast Tables
Coordinate table flow and server sections with management and service staff
Handle high guest volume efficiently while maintaining excellent hospitality
Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entry area
Assist guests with questions and special seating needs
Sell and properly ring in restaurant merchandise using toast POS
$18-$20/hr starting pay range
Salary : $18 - $20
