Are you detail-oriented with experience inspecting precision machined parts? We’re hiring a Quality Control Inspector with blueprint & GD&T experience to join a reputable, team-focused machine shop in the Middletown area.

Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections of machined components
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements
- Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Verify dimensions and tolerances meet engineering specifications
- Accurately document inspection results and quality findings
- Enter inspection data and maintain records using basic computer programs (Word & Excel)
- Communicate quality concerns and discrepancies with the production and engineering teams
Qualifications
- Prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and GD&T on blueprints (required)
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Strong understanding of dimensional tolerances and inspection processes
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
