The role of Business Development Manager is a key role in our markets to help drive new customer acquisition and customer growth. As a member of the community you work in, you'll meet other business leaders through social networking, cold calls, through leads and create opportunities for Zing Recruiting to impact the world of work in the markets we serve by effectively aligning talent and matching to customer needs. The Business Development Manager collaborates as a team member with both direct & indirect reporting in a matrix organization in developing and executing sales goals & strategy and a strong relationship with the service & delivery team.
Compensation: $60k-$75k commission
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, Office with 60-70% field time
How You’ll Do It:
· Attend Client Visits and develop comprehensive understanding of client company culture to better service them
· Set strategies for business growth in sales, gross margin and profitability
· Perform cold calls in person and over the phone in order to set appointment
· Operate as a market consultant for clients and provide updated findings and observations throughout recruitment process.
· Intake of Job Order details from clients such as daily responsibilities, and qualifications.
· Educate client on local economics and industry trends
· Communicate new job openings and closings, job and credentialing requirements, and status of submittals to Recruitment team.
· Educate Recruitment team on client submittal requirements and oversee submittal process of qualified candidates.
· Follow up on resume submittals to determine the status of the candidate moving forward in the interview process.
· Maintain client centric documentation on credentialing, compliance, onboarding documents, and policies.
· Completion of win-win selling and aligning to the organizations sales methodology
· Develop and provide solution-based options to clients by following the Counselor Sales Process (CSP)
· Be customer service driven and able to grow and develop a personal book of business while working with minimal supervision
· All other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring:
This is an experienced hire role, and you’ll need to bring 2 or more years of staffing or industry-related sales experience as a hunter focused on new business development. Here’s what else we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
· Strong affinity for business development, including service and marketing calls – entrepreneurial-minded and works with a sense of urgency
· Proven Hunting and Prospecting Skills
- A desire to increase business opportunities in your market by being actively involved in the community
- Troubleshooting abilities to resolve problems or complaints of clients and provide staffing solutions
- Must have reliable transportation, valid Driver’s License and ability to use personal vehicle daily to successfully perform job duties
- The ability to understand and apply basic business acumen and financial concepts
- Strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Physical Requirements: To successfully perform the duties of this job, the staff associate is required to have the ability and skills sufficient to drive a motor vehicle 60-75% of the time, to visit other office locations, prospects or new clients.
