*** This is an onsite role and cannot be done remotely ****** Epic REQ ****** High-Volume Call Center REQ (about 100 calls/day)***Job Duties:• Primary point of contact for patient relations by phone• Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic• Schedule appointments and complete patient registration• Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types• Handle patient/provider correspondence• Explains polices, procedures, or services to patients• Sanitize workspace using provided supplies and following department guidelinesRequired Qualifications:• HSD/GED• Flu vaccination (no exceptions/no declinations)• Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans (Third Party Liability (TPL) screening, Medi-Cal / Medicare eligibility verification, Workers Compensation eligibility)• 1 year of recent experience working in a high-volume call center environment (100 calls per day)• 2 years of experience was a PAR/PSR OR working in a medical office/hospital setting• Experience with CS-Link/Epic• Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructionsPreferred Qualifications:• Understanding of medical terminology• 2 years of college/trade program• Bi-lingual (Spanish)Company DescriptionAlphaProTemps is specialized in providing "best-in-class" professional staff augmentation services.
