Compensation• The pay for this position is $28 - $35 per hour• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Highlights• The required availability for this position is Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM• On-site work in Brea, CAThis person will support product development activities by performing laboratory testing, documenting results, assisting engineers with technical tasks, and maintaining equipment and safety procedures in an R&D environment.Responsibilities• Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes• Produce engineering documents, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics)• Prepare reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis• Provide completion of technical tasks and support engineers on a variety of technical tasks• Help scope equipment for use and complete qualifications• Work with the team on general lab functions, including calibration, implementation of safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance• Notify manager or team lead if any factors may affect project timelines or success• Assist in the development of prototype processes and test set-ups• Execute designed test protocols and conduct testing• Effectively document and communicate test results• Handle test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing Requirements• Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a lab environment (corporate or school) or technician experience in a regulated environment• Experience following written procedures and working collaboratively with a team Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor of Science in a technical area and at least 1 year of experience in a laboratory or R&D setting• Ability to understand and perform designed test procedures• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional group and communicate with the lab team and extended team members• Experience developing solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope• Proficiency in personal computers and related software• Ability to train lower-level technicians If you think this Product Development Technician position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!JOB ID 163830
