This role contributes to routine technical tasks and provides solutions to technical problems of limited scope. Daily interactions will be with supervisors, project leaders, and technical team members.Duties & ResponsibilitiesGather, format, compile, and manipulate technical data (e.g., laboratory results, material test outputs, engineering design changes).Produce engineering documents, reports, and drawings such as flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.Prepare reports and summaries, including quantitative data analysis.Provide technical support to engineers across various tasks.Assist in equipment scoping and qualification activities.Support general lab functions including calibration, safety procedure implementation, and routine equipment maintenance.Notify manager or team lead of factors that may impact project progress.Assist in the development of prototype processes and test setups.Execute defined test protocols and conduct testing activities.Document and communicate test results accurately.Handle test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing.RequirementsMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma.Minimum 6 years of experience in a lab environment (corporate or academic) or technician experience in a regulated environment.Experience following written procedures and working collaboratively within a team.Preferred RequirementsBachelor of Science in a technical discipline.At least 1 year of laboratory or R&D experience following written procedures in a collaborative environment.A-Line Staffing is now hiring Product Development Tech please contact Marcia Hamilton at (586) 710-7979 or mhamilton@alinestaffing.com
