Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with patient care activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote comfort and independence.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team promptly.
• Support clinical procedures in various departments including OR (Operating Room), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), Geriatrics, and Medical-Surgical units.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
• Prepare and organize clinical areas for procedures in teaching hospital environments, ensuring sterile techniques are followed.
• Provide post-acute care support by assisting with patient transfers and discharge procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless care across emergency departments, clinics, sub-acute care units, and outpatient services.

Experience

• Prior experience working in Level II trauma centers or similar high-acuity environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hospital medicine, emergency medicine protocols, and trauma response procedures.
• Experience working in Level I Trauma Centers or specialized units such as PICU or Geriatrics is advantageous.
• Familiarity with medical-surgical inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and post-acute or sub-acute care settings.
• Proven ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments like teaching hospitals or outpatient clinics.
• Strong background supporting diverse patient populations including pediatric, adult, geriatric, and post-operative patients.
• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with at least Level II trauma center experience is essential for this role.
