What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and supervise a hardscape crew on patios, walkways, retaining walls, stairs, and outdoor living projects
- Operate heavy equipment like excavators, skid steers, and compact loaders for grading, site prep, and material handling
- Read and interpret project plans, layouts, and elevations for precise installation
- Coordinate daily site activities: excavation, base prep, drainage, and final hardscape installation
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with top-notch craftsmanship
- Train and mentor crew members on installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety
- Keep job sites organized, clean, and safe
- Inspect and maintain equipment for safe operation
Who We’re Looking For
- Proven experience installing patios, retaining walls, pavers, stone steps, and outdoor living features
- Skilled in operating heavy machinery: excavators, skid steers, and compact loaders
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a crew effectively
- Ability to read plans, troubleshoot onsite, and ensure proper grading, drainage, and compaction
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Able to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
