OVERVIEW:
NOVEC is seeking candidates for full-time and part-time paid engineering internships for summer 2027. The position will be on-site in Gainesville, VA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other related duties may be assigned. An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and effectively. Reasonable accommodation may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Assist Project Managers with project coordination and tracking.
- Help maintain project schedules, action items, and project documentation.
- Attend project meetings and assist with meeting notes and follow-ups.
- Prepare basic reports, presentations, and project updates.
- Assist with tracking project costs, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors as needed.
- Help organize and maintain project files and records.
- Support other project management activities and special assignments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA 3.0

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Good organizational and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving history

Interest in project management and the electric utility industry.
